Very few cannabis plants smell of vanilla; this one was bred to.
Barney's Farm paired a Kashmir hash plant with Afghan Kush, two parents rooted in the old hash country of South and Central Asia, and selected for scent above all. The breeder ranks it among the most fragrant and full-flavoured strains it has offered.
The nose opens on wild vanilla and lavender, then brightens with lemon zest and orange peel. The smoke is sweet and layered, and users add honey, a little chocolate and an old-school hash note underneath.
The breeder describes a strong, long-lasting effect that melts muscle tension, and users report a relaxed, tingly body that slides towards sleep. It is a reported evening choice among medical users for stress, a busy mind and trouble switching off at night.
Breeder figures describe a compact plant of around 65 cm that still builds large, dense colas, finishing in about nine weeks with up to 600 g/m² indoors. Outdoor growers report generous harvests at the end of September, and the tight indica structure suits small rooms and balconies alike.
