Old-school Amsterdam meets the modern candy shelf: Soma's newest strain takes Pink Runtz and grounds it in glue.
The father side is Soma's Glue, the breeder's own blend of Bruce Banner and Gorilla Glue #4, two American heavyweights known for resin and punch. Across from it sits Pink Runtz, the sweet, clone-only cut that made the Runtz family a fixture of the last few years. As flower, Soma says the result is grown exclusively for a single coffeeshop in The Hague, which makes the seed pack the only way most collectors will ever meet it.
The breeder describes candy-sweet fruit up top, with an earthy, gassy undertone that gives away the Glue in the family.
Effects are described as euphoric and relaxing in equal measure, calming the body while leaving a mild creative spark. Soma pitches it as an end-of-day strain, something for winding down after a long one, and rates its THC as high without publishing a figure.
Growers get a forgiving plant. The breeder calls Pink Glue resilient and adaptable, comfortable in a range of setups and resistant to common pests and diseases, with a manageable frame that suits newer growers as well as experienced hands. Buds finish dense in 9 to 10 weeks, for a breeder minimum of 30 to 40 grams.
