So Purple by Soma Seeds

Pink in one plant, purple in the next: So Purple is the Soma pack for collectors who like their garden to look as good as it smells.

The cross began with friends at an Amsterdam coffeeshop, who put a three-way Purple Haze over Soma's own SO G Kush. Soma took seed from that work, ran it out and kept the one phenotype they judged exceptional, then released it as a limited drop. It is among the newest lines in the catalogue.

The colours carry through to the nose. Breeder notes describe the pinkish plants as heavy on berry and the purple ones as spicier, while outdoor runs build a layered mix of blackberry, haze and sweet vanilla.

Soma has not published effect notes for So Purple yet. Its SO G Kush side is described by the breeder as relaxing with a clear head, and with an 80% indica split this one leans towards the evening.

For the grower it is a fast, forgiving plant. The breeder calls it ultra easy to grow and maintain, with flowering at 7 to 9 weeks and some indoor phenotypes ready from week seven. Flowers come in huge and deep in resin, outdoor plants grow massive, and the breeder minimum sits at 30 to 40 grams.

Soma Seeds is the Amsterdam house behind Cup winners such as NYC Diesel, Amnesia Haze and Lavender, and So Purple builds on its own SO G Kush.
