The name is the giveaway: this is Cheese, aged the Dutch way.

Sogouda grew out of a collaboration between Soma and Milo of Big Buddha Seeds, the breeder whose name is tied to Cheese across Europe. It brings Soma's Cheese and Big Buddha's together, then crosses them with a Blueberry and G13 Haze blend. Soma says it became a favourite in Amsterdam's coffeeshops.

Growers describe a heavy cheese odour, with blueberry, lime and damp earth underneath. The breeder's own shorthand is a tangy flavour and lime-green, luscious buds, which is about as close to a cheese board as cannabis gets.

Users report a relaxing, calming effect that can turn into full couch-lock, and one grower called it very strong and long-lasting with little tolerance build-up over time. It belongs to the evening.

Indoor growers report very hard, compact buds and a bud-to-leaf ratio good enough to make trimming painless. Soma rates it for high-quality hash and gives 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, indoors or out, for a minimum of 35 to 40 grams. Sturdy stems and medium-sized leaves make it a steady, easy plant to manage.
