Few cuts have a reputation as sticky as GG4, and this pack is that plant crossed back onto itself.
GG Strains, the Las Vegas outfit run by Joesy Whales and Lone Watie, bred Original Glue from Chem's Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel and first released it as Gorilla Glue #4. An S1 is the clone pollinated by itself, so these feminised seeds carry GG4 on both sides, with the usual spread of plants from close copies to the occasional outlier.
Pungent, earthy and sour on the nose, with pine, a little citrus and pepper behind it. Caryophyllene leads in tested flower, followed by myrcene and limonene.
The effect is heavy: a strong wave of euphoria that settles into a deep, relaxed body, often with a serious appetite. Medical users report it for stress and for aches at the end of the day, and it is best saved for experienced smokers.
The breeder's growing brief lists 58 to 63 days of flower and warns that the plant drinks heavily but wants light feeding, and that overfeeding is the usual mistake. Growers report fast vegetative growth, a branchy frame and dense, large buds coated in resin.
