Cookies and cream on one side, a cup-winning kush on the other, and a dark streak running through some of the plants.
Oldman Green dusted the Oreoz cut with pollen from a reversed Kosher Kush clone, chasing what he describes as an extreme blend of Cookies and kush. Oreoz comes from Cookies N Cream and Secret Weapon, which puts Girl Scout Cookies, Starfighter, White Widow and Cheesequake into the family tree. Kosher Kush adds its own pedigree: a shared first place in the seed company indica class at the 2011 High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam.
The breeder describes a Cookies-led nose with tart lemon across the top and a gassy finish underneath, and calls the flavour a highlight of the cross.
Old School promises serious power, and both parents are known for heavy, settling effects, so this is a pack to think of for late in the day. Detailed user reports are still few, which suits collectors who like to hold a release early.
Flowering runs about 65 days. The breeder's spec sheet puts indoor yield at around 500 g/m², another breeder listing quotes up to 700 g/m², and the plant is at home indoors or out. Some phenotypes turn very dark as they ripen, which makes them stand out in the room and in the jar, and gives pheno hunters an obvious first thing to look for.
