Banana Kush Mints by Old School Genetics

Dark green fan leaves washed with deep blue, and flowers so thick with glandular heads they look snowed on: Banana Kush Mints is made for anyone who presses their own.

It is a limited release from the Old School Banoffee Pie series, pairing the Rabid Hippie cut of Kush Mints with the breeder's reversed Banana Ripple #17. Kush Mints, the Animal Mints x Bubba Kush hybrid, brings its gas and cool mint, while the banana parent pushes fruit to the front.

In the breeder's description the fruit wins: creamy banana leads the terpene profile, with fuel and a minty chill sitting underneath rather than taking over.

Old School has not published effect notes for this cross. Kush Mints itself is widely reported as quick to land, uplifting then relaxing, with drowsiness at higher doses, and medical users mention it for aches and an unsettled stomach.

The breeder calls it easy to grow and generous for any level of experience, with a balanced 50/50 build, a strong flower to leaf ratio and a stretch of four to five times, so flip it early in a tent. Indoors it finishes in 55 to 60 days for 500 to 600 g/m², and outdoors it comes down in October with around 600 g a plant. That big trichome head is the breeder's reason to send it to hash or rosin.

Old School Genetics is a Barcelona collective led by Oldman Green, who has kept traditional lines alive since the late 1990s; its Peach Slush has taken several ICMAG titles, and its catalogue runs to collaborations with Karma Genetics and GG Strains such as OS Glue.
