Decades before OG Kush made the word famous, this was the Kush Dutch Passion customers kept reordering.
Master Kush comes from the Hindu Kush mountains of northern Afghanistan, an original 1980s line that the breeder has kept in its catalogue ever since and lists among its own team favourites.
The nose is restrained while it grows, then opens up: earthy and citrus, with lime and lemon arriving after drying and jarring. The breeder compares the aroma to hand-rubbed charas, with a sweeter, fresher inhale and a spicy, earthy exhale.
The breeder describes a euphoric, uplifting start that settles into a strong, long body stone, best saved for the evening, with real couch-lock at bigger doses. Medical users report it for easing stress and for a calm, unworried head.
Plants stay compact to medium with short internodes and a two to three week stretch, and they shrug off heat and cold better than many. Flowering averages eight weeks, sometimes nine, for around 400 g/m2 indoors and up to 500 g/m2 under a screen. Buds are big, dense and nearly leafless with orange pistils, so the breeder advises dry air to keep mould away. Outdoors, sturdy plants can give 500 to 750 g each by late September to mid-October.
