Lavnesia by Soma Seeds

Soma's two most decorated lines, the Haze and the purple, finally share a pack.

Lavnesia puts Amnesia Haze, the 2004 Cup winner, on Lavender #1, the 2005 one. The idea first surfaced with a grower in California who had made a similar cross, but moving genetics across the Atlantic proved awkward, so Soma rebuilt it at home in Amsterdam. It reached the public as feminised seed in 2020, and the breeder's reaction on first smoking it was blunt: this is our next winner.

Rather than list flavour notes, Soma points to the terpene load and unusually large trichomes, and singles it out for water hash and rosin. Lavender's spiced, hashy character is in there too, carried by the sativa lean of the Haze.

The breeder describes a buzz that lands in the head and the body together, settling into complete relaxation without tipping out of balance. Soma rates it very high in THC but publishes no figure, so go gently if you are new to Haze crosses.

In the garden it behaves better than its Haze parent might suggest: the breeder calls it very easy to grow, with plants running medium to tall. It finishes in 9 to 10 weeks, indoors or out, for a breeder minimum of 40 to 50 grams, a generous figure by Soma's standards.
