Cross OG Kush with a Haze-bred male and you would expect the Kush to win. In Kushage it was the lift that got noticed.

T.H. Seeds set its own S.A.G.E. male, a Haze and Afghani blend, over the Los Angeles OG Kush. The plan was to keep the heavy Kush character while borrowing the vigour and cleaner shape that made S.A.G.E. the house's signature, and the breeder says the offspring yield more and grow more elegantly than OG Kush alone.

Sharp pine resin comes first, over a spicy, herbal base carrying the sandalwood note S.A.G.E. growers know well. An earthier tone deepens as the buds dry, and the breeder calls the taste a balanced spicy sweetness.

The buzz arrives almost at once and stays crystal clear, the S.A.G.E. brightening the OG body rather than burying it. Users describe a creative, upbeat middle and a relaxed, hungry finish, and medical users report it for stress and everyday aches.

Plants reach 125 to 150 cm and flower for 9 to 10 weeks, a touch longer than OG Kush, with a breeder figure of 400 to 500 g per square metre. Growers report a slow start, then a big stretch once flowering begins, ending in hard, round buds on lime-green calyxes under a heavy coat of frost. It is said to do best in hydro.
