Jacob Green by Soma Seeds

A gassy modern clone meets one of the old Haze workhorses, and you can see the result in the resin.

Soma paired Jokerz #31, a clone-only cut from the Jet Fuel Gelato and White Runtz family, with G13 Haze, and settled on a hybrid that leans slightly indica at 60/40. The brief was a plant that gives yield, flavour and hash quality at once, and phenotypes have reportedly turned up on menus as far apart as Thailand and Amsterdam.

Gas and damp earth come first, then citrus, skunk and eucalyptus, with musk and pepper underneath. Phenotypes split: some finish bitter and sour, others rounder and musky.

Soma has not published an effect profile and grower reports are still few, so this pack is for the collector who likes to be early. The parentage points to a weighty, gassy body from the Jokerz side with a clearer Haze lift on top.

Plants grow strong and healthy with thick lower buds, flower in 9 to 10 weeks, and yield medium to high. The G13 Haze drives heavy crystal production, which is why the breeder pitches it at hash makers as much as flower growers, and it suits both home gardens and larger rooms.

Soma Seeds made its name in Amsterdam after Reclining Buddha won the 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup, with more Cup wins to follow through 2005.
