Colas of 25 cm are nothing unusual here, the breeder says, and that tells you exactly what this old Dutch Passion Skunk was selected for.
Skunk Passion was developed from the house's 007 Skunk line, and Dutch Passion presented it as a surprising step up from its parent. It leans mostly sativa and belongs to the breeder's classic Skunk era, long before the dessert strains arrived. It also went on to parent Sacra Frasca, crossed with Power Plant.
Dutch Passion published little about its nose, so expect the family likeness: the musky, sweet skunk funk that gives the line its name.
The breeder describes a high that rises slowly, can last several hours and then fades gently rather than dropping away. Grower descriptions point to a clear head and an active feel, which makes it more of a daytime smoke than a couch strain.
The buds are large and fairly loose rather than rock hard, rich in resin glands and dressed in long pistils. Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks indoors, growers report plants of 1.5 to 2.5 metres and 200 to 400 g each, and outdoor plants run late, to about the end of November, so it is best kept to indoor rooms and greenhouses.
