The name nods to omakase, the chef's choice menu at a sushi counter, and with a Yellow Zushi mother on the plate the joke holds up.
Omakaze is the flagship of the EZ Genetics Oishii NYZ line. The father traces to Archive's Oishii (Flavor Pack #7 x Moonbow 112 F2) and EZ's own NYZ, a Zkittlez clone crossed to a Karma Genetics Sour D Bx2 male, selected as the number 14 phenotype. The breeder bred it for loud Zkittlez flavour, heavy resin and a versatile effect, and states that both parent sides tested clean of hop latent viroid.
Phenotypes run from sweet, fruity Zkittlez candy to a gassier, more pungent take, and the breeder notes that the flavour holds through pressing into rosin.
The breeder describes a satisfying, functional stone: properly high, yet without the couch lock that heavy Zkittlez crosses can bring, so it fits most hours of the day.
Expect plants to roughly double in height after the flip. The breeder lists 56 to 63 days of flower and a medium to heavy yield, generous for something this Zkittlez dominant, and some phenotypes turn purple late in bloom when the environment allows. For hash makers, the breeder reports ice water hash returns of 3.7 per cent and higher from selected plants.
