Spanish for blue berry, Mora Azul pairs a bakery-case blueberry with one of Portland's heaviest gas lines, and the gas speaks first.

Compound Genetics built it from Blueberry Cruffin, the clone-only berry pastry cut, and Pavé, their own Paris OG x The Menthol keeper prized for its frame and resin. The plan was two high-yielding parents with a fruit-forward finish, and the breeder pitches the result at hash makers and flower growers alike.

Expect heavy fuel up front, then a herbal, earthy note the breeder likens to blue yerba mate, rounding off sweet with a light floral lift. Some phenotypes swing sweeter and earthier, closer to that mate tea character.

The breeder has not published effect notes yet. Early reports describe a bright, sociable start that settles into calm body ease, suited to late afternoon or early evening, and medical users mention it for stress and muscle tension.

Vegetative growth runs at an average pace, and it suits indoor or outdoor rooms. Flowers come dense, well formed and thick with trichomes, finishing in about nine weeks with a medium to high return. Growers report purple hues on cooler nights, and the breeder figure for THC is 23 to 27%.
