Pineapple running down the wrist, cherry syrup and a sticky candy depth: Solazo smells like a tropical ice lolly left out in the midday sun, which suits a name that means a blaze of sunshine in Spanish.

Compound Genetics took Piñana, the Terp Hogz cross of Pineapple Hindu Zkittlez and Banana OG, and pollinated it with Black Amber, the GMO x OZ Kush Bx2 line they reversed and renamed from High Fructose Corn Syrup. The aim was a balanced plant with a loud tropical profile and plenty of resin.

The breeder calls the nose super loud and syrupy, with a thick sweetness and a cough syrup depth. Once lit, reports add cream, a touch of diesel and earthy kush underneath.

Reported effects are balanced: an alert, creative head that stays functional, then a gradual physical unwind that carries well from afternoon into evening.

Most offspring finish with green-dominant buds, less purple than some Black Amber crosses, under heavy trichome cover. Vegetative growth is average and it works indoors or out, with growers noting a strong stretch and a good response to a screen. Flowering takes eight to nine weeks for a medium yield, and there is no breeder THC figure.
