Pour a bowl of fruity breakfast cereal, add a squeeze of citrus, and you have the nose Compound Genetics was chasing with JAHrassic.
The mother is JAHmagic, a Blueberry Yum Yum x Purple Haze line from the San Francisco breeder JAHnetics. The father comes from Black Amber, a Full Moon Genetics cross of GMO and OZ Kush Bx2 that first went by the name High Fructose Corn Syrup. Compound reversed its favourite Black Amber plant, renamed it after a dark, sweet plum, and has used the pollen across a run of new crosses, this one included.
The breeder lists sweet fruity cereal, citrus and hibiscus, and describes a loud profile that stays true from the jar to the smoke.
JAHmagic is known for an energetic, creative, euphoric high, and early descriptions of JAHrassic follow suit: stimulating and mood-lifting rather than sleepy. Users of the mother do warn that it can feel racy in large amounts.
Most plants take after JAHmagic in shape and production, with average veg time, vigorous growth and heavy resin. Flowers set dark green, and some phenotypes flash lilac late on. The breeder puts flowering in an average to early window of eight to eight and a half weeks, with a medium to high yield, indoors or out.
