Most Tropicanna Punch crosses chase fruit; Black Tuna's Fig Newtonz goes the other way, towards the biscuit tin.
The Santa Marta breeders crossed Cookies Kush #122, a selection from GSC and Rolex OG, with the Tropicanna Punch #61 cut that anchors their Trop Punch line. The breeder pitches it as a cookie-cream strain rather than a sugary or fruity one, and says it should bring back the fig and berry biscuits a grandmother kept for visitors.
The breeder's own note for the nose is sweet fig cookies: warm baked dough, soft dried fruit and a creamy finish, with peppery caryophyllene listed as the lead terpene.
Black Tuna has not yet published an effect profile, and grower reports are still thin on the ground. For a collector that is part of the appeal: this is a pack to hold while the wider world catches up.
The breeder describes large, dense flowers and a distinctive stretch, from a medium-difficulty plant that leans about 70% sativa. Its figures give nine to ten weeks of flowering, and it can be grown indoors, outdoors or under glass, with a medium to high harvest.
