Two years of joint work between a Dutch and a Spanish breeding team went into Auto Xtreme, with one goal: a full Haze experience on an automatic clock.
Dutch Passion and Dinafem built it on Outlaw Amnesia, an Amnesia and Super Haze cross, then added Dutch Passion's own Haze genetics and an indica thread that firms up the buds. It arrived in 2013, and the breeder now sells it as Auto Xtreme Haze, which tells you where its heart lies.
The nose is classic Haze, spicy with lime and menthol, and in flower it picks up fruity citrus, spicy mint and a floral skunk note. On the palate it runs from pure Haze to herbal Skunk depending on phenotype, with sour citrus throughout.
The breeder describes an uplifting, clear and energetic high that arrives quickly and lasts, a daytime sativa for focus and good company. The first rush mellows over time, and a heavy session can tip into sleepiness.
This is a big, vigorous autoflower, usually about a metre tall and anywhere from 75 cm to 1.5 m, ready 11 to 12 weeks from seed. The breeder quotes around 500 g/m² indoors, more for experienced hands, and says it takes well to SCROG and supercropping, likes strong light and copes with more heat than most autos. Heavy late branches may need support, and low humidity keeps the long Haze buds clean.
