Small enough to finish in a two litre pot and quick enough to sow as late as early August, Taiga brought Power Plant into the automatic age.

Dutch Passion took a Power Plant selected for early flowering and crossed it with an autoflowering blend of Russian Ruderalis, Canadian Ruderalis and Indica. It was one of the breeder's early AutoFem lines, upgraded to Taiga #2 in 2013, and both versions have now left the catalogue. For collectors tracing how Dutch autoflowers developed, this is an early chapter.

The breeder said simply that the smell and taste are clearly Power Plant, so this is a pack for anyone who already knows and likes that line.

The first Taiga's effect was never written up in detail. Its successor, Taiga #2, was described by the breeder as a very powerful, long lasting stone, good for creative sessions, and some growers rated it the strongest AutoFem in the range.

Expect two shapes in the pack: a short, compact indica type and a taller, stretchier sativa type. Plants usually stand 50 to 60 cm, with big, tight buds for their size, and the breeder notes they need no special feeding but do want plenty of sun. Seed to harvest runs about 8 to 10 weeks, with 25 to 30 g per plant, and sowings can run from early spring to early August.
