Auto Sweet Special by Sweet Seeds

Three of Sweet Seeds' favourite building blocks went into this one: an elite Grapefruit clone, an elite Hog clone and a selected Cream Caramel Auto.

Sweet Special Auto, catalogue SWS35, is a third generation autoflower and a poly-hybrid, the product of several rounds of crossing rather than a single cross. It mattered enough to the breeder to become a parent itself, feeding into Sweet Special F1 Fast Version, Crystal Candy Auto and Crystal Candy F1 Fast Version. The auto no longer appears in the breeder's current catalogue, which puts this pack firmly in collector territory.

The breeder sums up the nose in one image: sweets and fruit jellies, very sweet and very attractive. That sugary side is credited to the Hog and Grapefruit ancestors.

Sweet Seeds publishes no effect profile for this strain and we have found no reliable grower reports, so we will not invent one. The Hog and Cream Caramel side of the family is known for relaxing, indica-leaning smokes, and the Grapefruit side for a brighter, fruitier lift.

The breeder gives harvest about eight weeks from germination and a height of 60 to 100 cm, so it stays manageable in a tent or on a balcony. Buds come in large and are covered in crystalline trichomes. Breeder yields are 400 to 550 g/m² indoors and 35 to 175 g a plant outdoors.

Sweet Seeds has bred in Valencia for more than 25 years, describes itself as a pioneer of feminised seed, and trademarks names from Cream Caramel to Green Poison.
