A Thai sativa line tamed just enough for a tent, with eight cup awards to its name and now retired from the breeder's catalogue.
Sweet Seeds built it from two of its own elite clones, Super Tai and Early Skunk, and filed it under the code SWS03. The Skunk side was there to shorten bloom, firm up the buds and add resin without losing the Thai character. Its record runs from first outdoor at Andoain's Txapelketa in 2006 and first indoor at Barcelona's Copa el Jardí D'en Jah in 2008 to first indoor at Portugal Weed Masters in 2014.
Expect deep Asian spice over sweet and sour notes and a cool thread of mint, with growers adding honey and raw sugar once it is dry.
The breeder describes a very active, cerebral high that sparks ideas, and lists it as both stimulating and relaxing. Users report a long-lasting effect with slow tolerance build-up, and some find it turns calm and sleepy late in the evening.
Unlike a pure Thai, it finishes in about nine weeks indoors on a compact frame, giving 350 to 450 g/m² inside and 300 to 500 g a plant outdoors on breeder figures. Growers note two shapes, one long and compact, one taller and more stretched, and dried buds that are hard and dense with a good bud to leaf ratio.
