Animal Mints was bred by Seed Junky Genetics and never released as seed, so the only way most collectors get near it is through a cross like this.

Compound Genetics took that clone-only mother, thought to be Animal Cookies x SinMint Cookies, and pollinated it with The Menthol, its own Gelato #45 x (White Diesel x (High Octane x Jet Fuel)) flagship. The pairing joins two cookie-era dessert lines with a fuel-soaked Portland male, and the breeder sells it as Animorph Mints, an F1 aimed at frost and flavour.

The terpene profile is thick with kush, sweet cream and gas over damp earth. The Menthol brings fresh mint and a hint of black pepper, and the smoke ends on a cool minty note.

Growers describe a two-stage experience: an uplifting lift in the head, then a relaxed, settled body. That balance makes it more of an afternoon or evening strain than a wake and bake.

Plants are coated in resin, with a medium stretch and dense, frosted buds. The breeder gives eight to ten weeks of flowering and a medium to high yield, indoors or out, and outdoor plants in the northern hemisphere finish around October.
