A plant picked from Skunk #1 seeds more than thirty years ago meets one of the loudest candy lines of the modern era, and on the breeder's own account the old one usually wins.
The mother is Exodus Cheese, the cut that made a name for itself in the UK, which the breeder traces to a Skunk #1 selection by Sam the Skunkman, a friend of the house. The pollen is reversed Zunami, the original Zkittlez clone crossed with Grounded Genetics' Gelato 41 x Sherb BX1 male. Zkunk was shown at Spannabis 2024 before going into the catalogue.
The breeder has not published a terpene list, but reports Cheese dominating most of the offspring, so expect that sharp, savoury Cheese funk to lead, with Z candy showing through in the blended plants.
No effect profile has been published and grower reports are few. Its appeal is the pairing itself: a piece of British cannabis history brought into a modern fruit line.
The breeder notes a medium stretch and a longer finish than most of the range, at 9 to 10 weeks, with a medium yield indoors or out. Many phenotypes mix both parents, yet the Cheese side shows strongly in most of them, which is the point for collectors of that cut.
