Lemon zest grated over vanilla cake, with a pinch of black pepper to finish.
One of the newer Paradise releases, Zesty Bliss pairs the house's award-winning L.A. Amnesia, a haze-driven sativa, with a Wedding Cake cut picked out for stability and an unusually creamy flavour. The intention was simple: keep the Amnesia's bright head and borrow the Cake's dense structure and dessert finish. The breeder lists it at 60 per cent sativa.
Limonene leads, sharp and fresh, backed by peppery caryophyllene and a floral, herbal thread of terpinolene. Under the citrus and haze sit earthy tones and a soft, creamy sweetness that lingers.
The breeder's description is a heady, energising start that keeps the mind clear and social, without the anxious spiral some hazes bring, before a gentle Wedding Cake ease settles into the body. Paradise suggests it for mood and mild aches without sedation, and growers place it firmly in the daytime.
Expect a candelabra of strong side arms around a central cola, finished with dense, resin-filled foxtails. The sativa side stretches indoors, so the breeder recommends topping, low stress training and clearing the lower growth early in bloom. Breeder figures are 65 to 70 days, over 550 g/m² indoors and 900 to 1,100 g a plant in a sunny outdoor spot, with plants above 120 cm.
