Somewhere in this pack may be the phenotype that turns a deep, velvety purple, the clearest mark of its Purple Kush parent.

Velvet Mist is a 2025 Paradise Seeds cross of Purple Kush and Wedding Cake, bred as a heavily indica hybrid for the evening. Purple Kush passes on colour, calm and red-berry notes; Wedding Cake brings smoothness, potency and creamy vanilla. The breeder lists THC at 22 to 26 percent.

The base is earthy and woody, cut with creamy vanilla, red berries and a crack of black pepper, and some tasters find a nutty edge.

The effect builds slowly into an all-over body calm, with no mental fog, which suits quiet downtime or a relaxed evening with friends. Users report it for winding down at night, easing physical tension and helping with sleep.

Plants grow medium-sized and bushy, under 120 cm indoors, with evenly spaced flowers that fill into dense, heavy, resinous colas. Breeder figures are 55 to 60 days of flowering, 450 to 500 g/m² indoors and 800 to 1,000 g per plant outdoors in temperate or Mediterranean climates. Both parents carry good mould and pest resistance, and the breeder advises thinning the thick foliage for airflow and stripping the lower branches early in flower.
