Lemon, grapefruit and a slice of cake: Spritzade is the bright, citrus-led member of the Seeds of Anarchy family.
Breeder Steve chose Gelonade, the Lemon Tree and Gelato 41 cross prized for its sharp lemon nose, as the mother, then crossed it to Spritzer from Colorado's Cannarado Genetics. The breeder calls the result a polyhybrid that leans slightly towards the narrow-leaf, sativa side of the family.
Breeder notes describe strong citrus, lemon and grapefruit up front, rounded by a creamy, cake-like sweetness and a musky, funky undertone that stops it tasting like a glass of squash.
The breeder describes a refreshing, uplifting character with serious potency behind it, so the brightness on the nose is matched by a lively, daytime-leaning head. Newcomers to the line should take it slowly.
Spritzade has the shortest listed bloom in the collection at 8 to 9 weeks, a useful edge for anyone racing autumn weather outdoors. It is a feminised photoperiod hybrid for indoor or outdoor use with a medium to high yield, and height and THC figures are not yet published.
