Sour Peachez by Grounded Genetics

Sour fuel and ripe peach do not often share a jar, and this two-breeder collaboration was made to see whether they could.

Grounded Genetics took Zowahh from Karma Genetics, a Zkittlez x Sour Diesel BX2 line with a sour streak running through it, and crossed it with its own reversed Peach Guava. Peach Guava came from years of selection across Peach Limeade and Key Lime Guava, chosen for fruit, gland heads and wash yield. The breeder pitches the cross as an even split, with neither side taking over.

The listed profile runs from sour fuel and gassy candy to peach, melon, guava and a squeeze of lime.

Neither breeder has published effects, and it is too new for many grower reports. With Sour Diesel on one side, many collectors will expect a brighter, livelier smoke, but that is a reading of the family rather than a report.

By the breeder's account the plants grow with vigour and stack dense, resin-crusted flowers from golf ball to hand grenade size. Most phenotypes stay green, with the odd colourful one turning up. Both parents are strong resin makers, so it suits flower and hash alike, and published figures give 8 to 9 weeks and a medium to high yield, indoor or out.

Grounded Genetics was founded by Ramone after more than fifteen years in legacy breeding and licensed production, with a catalogue full of fruit-led names.
