Rubber and petrol on the nose, grapefruit on the finish: the name is a description, not a joke.
Boudica took Ol' Drippy #3 from Hoku Seed Co, a cross of GMO by I95 with Donny Burger, and put it to Original Buddha Cheese #1, the grapefruit-leaning selection from its Cheese line. I95 carries Triangle Kush, Legend OG and Stardawg, so the Ol' Drippy side is steeped in Chem-style funk. Against all that, the Cheese brings British dankness and a citrus lift.
The breeder's notes are intense and chemical: rubber, fuel and a solvent-sharp edge, with dank, skunky citrus behind it. The taste follows, rubber and petrol first, then grapefruit at the end.
Boudica has not published effect notes for Rubber Tree. With GMO and Chem lines on one side, collectors may expect a weighty, late-day character, but that is a reading of the family rather than anything the breeder states.
Rubber Tree takes longer in flower than Fat Washer or Grapefruit Funk, at nine to ten weeks. The breeder describes good vigour and long, spear-shaped, resin-rich colas rather than the round golf balls of its Fat Yeti siblings, with real bag appeal at the finish. Yield is rated medium to high, and it is listed for indoor and outdoor growing.
