Paletas are Mexican ice lollies, and this pink one comes from two breeding houses working the same cross.
Pink Paletas is a co-op between Karma Genetics and Grounded Genetics. Karma supplied a selected Sweets mother, its own line built from the Guava cut of Gelato #25 and Sour Diesel Bx2, and Grounded pollinated her with an Ozark cut it had picked out, a plant drawing on OZ Kush and Jealousy. That puts Gelato, Sunset Sherbet and Cookies blood on one side and modern OZ Kush and Z heritage on the other.
Karma has not set out a terpene list, though the dessert-led family tree and the ice lolly name point toward sweet, fruity and creamy over fuel.
Published effects are still to come, and the strain has few reviews so far. It is a pack for collectors who enjoy getting in before the write-ups.
The breeder is candid about this one: plants show a good deal of variation from one to the next, and young seedlings can be touchy in the early weeks. That spread is precisely what a phenotype hunter is after. It grows indoors, outdoors or under glass, flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and yields medium to high by the breeder's figures, and the six seeds are feminised.

Karma Genetics began in Holland in 1999 with a simple aim, to widen the narrow choice of clones then available, and it has partnered with other breeders ever since.
