Peach Gummies by Grounded Genetics

Grape soda on the nose and peach sweets on the tongue: Peach Gummies was made for collectors who like dark flowers and loud candy.

The mother is a Purple Urkle x Candy Fumez plant that Grounded Genetics held back for her hard, purple, golf-ball nugs and the heavy Urkle stamp she carries. She was then pollinated with reversed Peach Guava, the house fruit line that took several generations to build from Peach Limeade and Key Lime Guava. The cross joins an old purple grape cut to the breeder's modern candy work.

In the breeder's description grape leads, leaning into soda, purple candy and a deep, old-school fruit, before the palate turns to juicy peach sweets, fizzy fruit candy and a soft tropical finish.

Grounded Genetics has not published effect notes for this one, and early grower reports are thin. What the breeder does stress is the look, and that is what most collectors will want this pack for.

Expect dark, deeply coloured buds under a silvery layer of big resin heads, the kind of glands that matter if you wash. Breeder figures give 8 to 9 weeks of flower and medium to high yields, indoors or outdoors, with the Urkle side bringing the dense, round structure.

Ramone, who founded Grounded Genetics, does much of his selection work in the Netherlands.
