Tangy Asian pear, a hit of candy and a gassy finish: the newest member of the Lazer Wolf family tastes the way its name sounds.

Ziplock Seeds chose a Banana Mochi mother, itself a cross of Eye Candy and Apples and Bananas, and gave her pollen from Lazer Wolf. That Amaretto Sour and Tropsicle hybrid has become the backbone of recent Ziplock work, turning up in Direwolf, Lazer Wolf F2 and BX, and a run of new crosses released in 2025.

The breeder describes a deep, candy-forward flavour, sweet and sour like a ripe nashi pear, with gas running underneath. It is a profile built for people who judge a strain by the jar first.

No effect notes or THC figure are published for Mochi Crunch, so collectors will be among the first to report on it. The breeder's own test is how the terps hold up from the jar to the last pull, and that is where this cross makes its case.

Plants finish in about eight weeks, quick for a modern dessert hybrid, and the breeder reports heavy yields from large, stacked calyx sets. Expect plenty of colour late in flower. It suits indoor or outdoor growing, and three feminised seeds make a neat, collectable pack.
