Midnight Sunset by Perfect Tree

Deep purple flowers, vivid orange pistils and a smell the breeder rates as mind-blowingly loud.

The mother is a Sunset Sherbert BX1 from Seed Junky Genetics which, by Perfect Tree's account, looks and smells very close to the original cut. The father is a reversed Jet A. That puts Sherbet on both sides of the family, since Jet A descends from Gelato 33 and Gelato itself is a Sunset Sherbet child, so the cross leans hard into the line it is named after.

Fuel dominates, strong and petrol-sharp, with the creamy sweetness of the Sherbert running underneath. Growers describe the flavour as sweet, diesel and creamy.

This is a heavily indica-leaning smoke for night-time: strong, physical and deeply relaxing, and described as ideal before bed. Users talk about a full-body buzz that slides gently into sleep.

Expect a fair amount of stretch after the flip, which is why the breeder suggests topping. Internodes are short and flowers stack tightly, most of the plant turns purple with some green calyxes, and growers report that cooler nights late in flower deepen the pinks and purples. Plants run medium to tall, give high yields in good conditions, finish in eight weeks indoors and come down in October outdoors.
