Island G joins Giesel, the heirloom Chem and Super Skunk clone, to Tropicanna Cookies, the Girl Scout Cookies and Tangie cross that made Harry Palms a name. The Oni team selected and refined it into what the breeder calls a sativa-dominant favourite, part of a run of Tropicanna crosses that also takes in Bubba Kush, Strawberry Diesel and Sour Trop.

Open the jar and Giesel arrives first: pungent and chemical with a kick of fuel, then berries and dark grape coming through underneath.

Oni sums it up as strong, sour and potent. The sativa lean points to a head-first effect, though user reports on this particular cross are still scarce.

Plants grow with a sativa lean, stack their buds well along each branch and frost over heavily as they ripen. Flowering runs 68 to 70 days, yield is medium to high, above average by the breeder's account, and it handles indoor rooms and outdoor gardens alike. Fifteen regular seeds leave plenty of scope for a pheno hunt between the chem side of Giesel and the fruit of Tropicanna.
