Only 710 packs of this were ever made, each holding two seeds of a California cut crossed onto a pure Afghani male.

The mother is the Bad Root cut, Rainbow Belts crossed with Apple Mintz, which came from Ember Valley in California. T.H. Seeds paired it with its own pure Afghani male to add strength to both the plant and the flavour, and released the result as a festival edition.

The smell is unmistakable: green apple candy floss and cool candy mint, and the taste follows the nose almost exactly.

The effect is strong and long lasting, settling into a fully relaxed body and calm mind, and the breeder warns that beginners may find it a bit much. Pain relief is among the effects listed, and it suits the evening best.

Growers get an easy plant with good structure and internode spacing, slower in veg and quicker once flowering begins. It stretches about twice its size, sometimes more, and can spread wide, so the breeder suggests topping once, though it stays manageable left alone at 110 to 150 cm. After 8 to 9 weeks the flowers are rock-hard and thick with resin, yielding 500 to 600 g per square metre, and they are well suited to ice water extraction.
