Two of California's best-loved indicas, one plant, and a phenotype picked for buds you could knock on.
Pheno Finder Seeds crossed LA Confidential, DNA Genetics' famous Afghani-leaning cut, with Granddaddy Purple, the grape-scented purple strain Ken Estes made popular in the early 2000s. From the progeny the team selected a mother with tight internode spacing and solid, purple-tinged flowers, so this pack carries a deliberate pick rather than a lucky mix.
Growers describe berry and dark fruit over a classic skunk base, with earthy tones and a clean thread of pine, the myrcene and pinene pairing typical of both parents.
The breeder sums up the effect in one word: couchlock. Reports add a happy, calming lift before the body takes over, and medical users mention it for evening calm, sleep, everyday aches and a lagging appetite.
Plants grow in a neat Christmas-tree shape with short gaps between nodes, which suits tight spaces and stacks buds close along each branch. The breeder lists 63 to 70 days of flower and a medium to high yield. Expect dense, solid nugs that often finish in purple and deep blue under white frost, and growers rate the plant well for mould and pest resistance.
