Sour Diesel's sharp edges, softened with Cookies and Glue: GI Joe is the Captain's take on an East Coast classic.

The Captain's Connection crossed the AJ cut of Sour Diesel with Girl Scout Glue, its own award-winning pairing of Girl Scout Cookies and Gorilla Glue. The breeder describes it as a strong, high-quality line that keeps the best traits of both parents. It is offered only as regular seed, so the full spread of the cross is there in the pack.

The breeder describes a rich, layered nose: sharp, acidic diesel up front, softened by sweet, floral and pastry notes from the Cookies side.

According to the breeder, it opens with a lift in both body and head, then settles into a long, deep relaxation with a dreamy, almost psychedelic edge. It is described as powerful, and the breeder's own advice is to take it steadily.

The Captain rates GI Joe easy to grow, with good resistance to cold and fungus, which counts for a line bred in Maine. Indoors it flowers in roughly eight to nine weeks, and outdoors it finishes in the first half of October. The breeder quotes up to 500 g/m² indoors and up to 800 g a plant outside.

The Captain's Connection is a Maine seed company founded in 2013 and named in honour of the founder's brother, Ryan.
