Take the most famous gum in Amsterdam, strip out the sugar and set it alight: that is the idea behind Fire Gum.
T.H. Seeds crossed Prodigy #22, itself a King Louie XIII OG and Moonbow #112 hybrid, onto its Original BubbleGum, the line that has carried the house name since the 1990s. Most BubbleGum crosses lean towards candy. This one deliberately goes the other way, which is exactly what earns it a place in a collection.
The breeder sums up the flavour as crystal clear and spicy. Picture cracked pepper, a dry warmth on the tongue and a sharp, clean finish that leaves the old pink sweetness behind.
The effect is listed as strong and uplifting, a bright, clear-headed lift that the breeder steers towards social and creative sessions rather than the sofa. Keep it for afternoons with company or a project on the go.
In the garden it grows with a sativa lean: an open frame, strong side branches and flowers that stack densely as they ripen. The breeder advises support for the heavier branches and good airflow through the canopy. Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks, indoor yields run 450 to 650 g per square metre, and the breeder puts height somewhere between 110 and 170 cm. Resin is the real headline, with the buds already thickly frosted by week six.
