ABF Genetics of Oakland, the breeder behind Diamond Runtz, built it from GMO and Runtz. GMO is famous for its savoury punch and heavy resin but is slow to finish, and the breeder's description credits Runtz with pulling that long flowering window in. ABF is also candid that the published Runtz pedigree is widely questioned, a rare bit of honesty in a market full of tidy family trees.
Expect what the breeder calls a candy-gas profile: sugared fruit up front, then the garlicky diesel that GMO lovers chase. It is a pairing of two very different noses, and the breeder expects the flavour to be the headline.
ABF has not published an effects profile for Finessin, and grower reports are still thin on the ground. Both parents carry big reputations, so for now the verdict on this cross is open, which is part of the appeal of holding an early pack.
In the breeder's notes the plants show a fair stretch once flowering starts and very little leaf around the buds, so the colas finish dense and trim quickly. ABF lists 60 to 70 days of flower and high yields, for indoor or outdoor rooms, and describes the plants as heavy producers for their size.
