Berry gelato, vanilla frosting and a curl of ripe banana: Emerald Envy reads like the dessert menu at a very good restaurant.
One of the newer releases from Paradise Seeds, it joins Jealousy with Animal Mints. The breeder credits Jealousy with the purple colouring and a creative, upbeat streak, and Animal Mints with the sweetness, a weighty body calm and the kind of resin output that makes hash makers pay attention.
That dessert nose carries citrus, earth and a skunky edge on the finish. The breeder names limonene, caryophyllene and linalool as the lead terpenes, which fits the mix of bright fruit, pepper and something floral underneath.
It opens with a cheerful, chatty head buzz and slides into warm, full-body ease, potent but balanced. The breeder suggests it for stress, a lift in mood and switching off after a long day, and those are the reasons early growers give too.
Indoors it makes a medium plant, under 120 cm, with a more open frame than most indicas and roughly double stretch once flowering starts, so plan the height early. The breeder recommends lollipopping in early bloom and notes a good appetite for feeding. Buds come in dense, colourful and coated in trichomes. Outdoors it wants a warm climate, where it reaches around 1.7 to 1.8 m.
