Dark purple and green flowers, dense enough to feel heavy in the hand, carrying fermented citrus, fuel and something close to red wine.

Shanoah Stanley of Ziplock Seeds bred Direwolf from two of his own lines. Cuban Affair, also sold as Lembrule, joins Amaretto Sour with Sinful, his Watermelon Mimosa and Jealousy selection that placed third at the 2023 NECANN Cup in Boston. Lazer Wolf, which heads the breeder's wolf line, pairs Amaretto Sour with his Tropsicle. With Amaretto Sour on both sides, Direwolf doubles down on that parent's character.

The breeder describes a rich terpene profile of fermented citrus, gas and wine. Lazer Wolf brings funk and fuel of its own to the mix, so the sharper phenotypes should lean that way.

Ziplock publishes no effect notes or THC figure for Direwolf, and we will not invent one. What the breeder does say is how he selects: vigour first in the greenhouse, then jar smell, smoke, flavour and how long the terps hold.

In the garden the breeder promises big yields of heavy, dense flower in eight to nine weeks, indoors or out, with a deep purple and green finish that makes the bag appeal obvious. A three pack of feminised seed is a compact way into the line.
