Dank Bananas by Dank Genetics

Ripe banana is a hard note to fake, and this one comes straight from Banana OG.

Dank Genetics crossed Banana OG with Dank Sherbert, its in-house Sunset Sherbert S1 and the backbone of much of its catalogue. The result is a hybrid with a slight indica lean, selected for heavy resin and a flavour that fills the room.

The breeder describes intense banana over a sweet, creamy base from the Sherbert side, a smoothie-like nose that gives little warning of how strong the smoke is.

Mostly THC-driven, it relaxes mind and body at once while leaving enough mental spark for conversation, and the breeder frames it as a strain for winding down with friends. Late afternoon and evening suit it best.

Plants are stocky and vigorous but stay compact, filling out with good secondary branching that makes them an easy fit for a small tent. Flowering runs 9 to 10 weeks, around 67 days by the breeder's count, and yields sit in the medium to high range, larger than average when conditions are right. Some plants may show the Sherbert parent's late colour: purple leaves, pink and orange pistils and a thick white coat of trichomes.
