Cherry Crisp by Perfect Tree

Cookies bones, a cherry on top, and a nose that wanders from fresh cream and cedar to dark chocolate and fuel.

Perfect Tree made it by crossing LA Kush Cake, the Seed Junky Genetics favourite built from Wedding Cake and Kush Mints, with CherryTini, one of its own lines from Cherry Noir and Jet A. The breeder describes the result as an explosion of kush finished with a cherry, and the family tree reads like a who's who of modern dessert genetics, with Animal Cookies, OG and Chem lines all sitting underneath.

Cream, wood and pine lead. Beneath them sit sour cherry, chocolate and a thread of gas, and the flavour is listed as candied cherry chased by strong fuel.

The breeder's description talks of a heady, dreamy lift that settles into a heavy body stone, and the listed experience is frankly narcotic. For most people this will be an evening pack rather than a working-day one.

Plants take after the Cookies side: thin leaves, long slim branches with wide spacing, and small, round, rock-hard buds under unusually thick frost. Flowers and leaves can turn dark purple and blue late on. The buds never form huge colas, yet the breeder reports yields above 500 g/m² as typical over an eight week flower, indoors or out.

Perfect Tree is a small, handcrafted seed company run by collectors who work only with modern hybrids and keep the plants with the most striking aromas.
