Some phenotypes of Candy Belt are done in 45 to 48 days, quick work for anything carrying Rainbow Belts in its blood.
T.H. Seeds rates its Rainbow Belts #20 mother as close to ideal, but she is slow to clone and slow through veg. Crossing her with the house's Pure Afghani tightened the structure, added branching and pulled the flowering time in, without losing the sweetness that made the cut famous. The breeder's own verdict is short: pure candy.
Gummy sweets lead, followed by tropical spice, sweet gas and a twist of lemon peel.
The breeder describes a fun, happy, relaxed and sociable high, upbeat and playful and slow to fade. It suits long afternoons in good company better than solitary nights.
Expect a wide, open plant of 110 to 150 cm with little stretch, strong side branching and generous spacing between nodes; the breeder suggests topping once and then letting it grow. Buds come in light, vibrant green, sometimes touched with colour, and stay dense and golf-ball firm right down to the lower branches. Most plants finish inside 8 weeks for 500 to 600 g per square metre, and the oily, heavy resin washes well for ice-water hash, though the breeder rates it less highly for dry sift.
