Camarosa by Crockett Family Farms

It shares its name with a classic Californian strawberry, and the fruit is only half the story.

David Crockett crossed Kali Mist, the long-established spicy sativa, with his Strawnana Juice. That father is itself Strawberry Banana bred to Juice, the farm's Shishkaberry and Tangie hybrid, so this pack carries three generations of Crockett fruit work with a lean, resinous sativa on top.

The breeder's notes start with a peppery, spiced top note from Kali Mist, then move into blueberry candy, candied banana and bubblegum sweetness over a deeper kush base from the Banana Kush side.

The effect is described as a blend: an uplifting, stimulating head from the Strawberry Banana and Tangie line, with relaxation coming through from Shishkaberry and Banana Kush. With Kali Mist in charge, expect the lift to lead, which makes it more of an afternoon smoke.

The breeder credits Kali Mist with an open, airy frame that lets light reach the lower sites, along with heavy resin and good resistance to mould. Flowering takes nine to ten weeks, a little longer than the other Juice crosses, and yield is rated medium to high indoors or out. As regular seeds, twelve beans give real room to pick a standout plant.
