Chem gas and Florida Kush earth under a bowl of sweet berries: Tri Berry is the pick of Crockett's berry series for collectors who like their fruit with a sharp edge.
The mother is Tri-Dog, a cross of Triangle Kush and Sour Chem, which puts heavy Kush body and a racing Chem head in the same plant. David Crockett pollinated her with Strawnana Juice, his Strawberry Banana x The Juice male. That stud carries Banana Kush and a candy-scented strawberry Bubble Gum on one side, and Shishkaberry and Tangie on the other, so the fruit runs deep.
On the breeder's account, expect earthy Kush and sharp diesel underneath, with sweet berry and a flicker of Tangie citrus on top; growers report grape and a piney, lightly spiced finish.
The breeder describes an effect that is both uplifting and soothing. Sour Chem brings a quick, energetic lift to the head while Triangle Kush settles into deep, heavy relaxation, so it works well from late afternoon on.
Tri Berry is a hybrid for indoor or outdoor growing, finishing in 8 to 9 weeks with a medium to high yield on the breeder's figures. Colas are reported to finish chunky and resinous, and the Kush side means dense flowers, so good airflow late in bloom matters. Regular seed gives males and females, useful for anyone keen to keep a mother or try crosses of their own.
