Paradise released this one to mark California's legalisation, and its resin hangs on the buds like a glaze of honey.
The breeder now lists the cross as Thin Mint GSC x Afghan Skunk: dessert sweetness from the Cookies side and heavy resin output from the old Afghan Skunk. Its earlier notes simply called it classic Californian genetics given a boost.
The smell is tropical, a sweet citrus pungency of lemon and ripe mango, and dried buds pick up a hint of honey on top. One grower called the smoke a sugary mango cloud; another in Ontario picked up red fruit punch.
The breeder describes deep body relaxation with a clear head and no fog. A published grow report adds a serene, warm looseness through the limbs that lasts a while without leaving you too stoned for the day's jobs, and medical users report it for pain, stress and restful sleep.
Plants stay bushy and short, under 80 cm on the breeder spec, with thick stems and broad leaves that suit low ceilings. The breeder gives 60 to 63 days indoors, up to 500 g/m² under lights or 750 g a plant outdoors, and an early October finish outside. In one indoor report four plants grew almost like clones, showed resin four weeks into bloom and gave 305 g dry between them, and a Canadian grower saw no mould in humid weather.
