Late in flower the fan leaves can turn a purple so deep it reads as black, which is reason enough for some collectors to want the pack.
The Plug Seedbank started with a Biscotti cut, Gelato 25 crossed with a Florida OG, and dusted it with reversed Runtz pollen. Biscotti is a potent, indica-leaning dessert strain in its own right. Runtz, the candy-sweet darling of the Californian scene, was brought in to build resin and add its sugar. The pairing worked well enough that the house later used it as the base for its Basil Smash.
The breeder sums it up as a sweet candy gas hit, Runtz sugar laid over the creamy, nutty weight of the Biscotti mother.
The breeder aims it squarely at experienced smokers, and with a potent indica-dominant Biscotti as the mother, it suits the evening sofa far more than the morning commute. Expect body weight and calm rather than racing thoughts.
Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks indoors or out, and the breeder rates yield as average, so this is a pack for colour and resin rather than weight. The Runtz pollen lifts resin production, and later in bloom some plants shift into those dramatic dark purples, a finish that photographs as well as it smokes.
