Rock-hard nuggets running from deep purple to blue, under a thick coat of resin: that is the picture the breeder paints of Blu Zang.

Grounded Genetics crossed a selected Zangria cut, the Thin Mint Cookies x Zkittlez plant picked out by Fiya Farmers, with a reversed keeper of Blucci, one of the cornerstones of its programme. Blucci itself came from a Blue Sherb x Jealousy female hit with reversed RS11 pollen; the breeder flowered forty beans, kept one, and reversed her for crosses like this. That single selection is the thread running through the whole Blucci family.

The breeder places the terps firmly in the candy-dessert bracket: sweet, creamy and sugary, with the blueberry and sherbet depth the Blucci side is known for.

No effects profile has been published, and the cross is too new for a reliable body of grower reports. It is a release for collectors who want the colour line now and are happy to let the reviews follow.

The breeder's focus is bag appeal: dense, colourful flowers and heavy resin, the traits that have made Blucci crosses popular with hash makers. Flowering time and yield figures have not yet been published, so growers who run it will be among the first to put numbers on it. It joined the range in 2025.
