Banana Hammock by Arcana Collective

The first rosin press off Banana Hammock is what convinced its breeders, and they put that in writing.

OG Ghost and Ras Kaya Paul crossed Banana OG #4 with a reversed Hamma Hamma, which is why this one comes feminised while Arcana's Banana Bx3 crosses are regular packs. Kaya's grower notes describe a sturdy, easy plant from early veg onwards, and the resin backs up the excitement: the breeder lists resin content of 4 per cent and up.

This is banana done with restraint: warm, ripe fruit with a creamy depth, well away from the candy end of the shelf. The inhale is clean and banana-led, finishing creamy with a slightly earthy edge.

The breeder describes a relaxing, calming experience, and the 80/20 indica lean shows in the body. Users report reaching for it to take the edge off stress and physical tension once the working day is over.

Expect large, vigorous plants with strong vertical growth, sturdy branches and dense, resin-heavy bud sites, finishing purple and green under a heavy coat of trichomes. The breeder gives 63 days of flower, a high yield and THC of 24 to 30 per cent, and rates it happiest indoors, comfortable in a greenhouse and able to go outdoors in warm, dry climates.
