Tall, top-heavy and built around fat OG colas, Rudy is the plant in Arcana's banana series that goes after size.
The mother is XXX Rude Dogg, paired with the Banana OG Bx3 line that runs through every regular pack in the collective's first release. The breeder calls the result OG-dominant with a sweeter, creamier edge from the banana side. It comes as a traditional pack of fifteen, with the spread of plants that makes a proper pheno hunt worthwhile.
OG Kush leads the aroma, followed by sweeter lemon and pine, damp earth and a faint hint of banana, gassy and slightly creamy on the exhale.
Arcana describes the effect as strong and relaxing, with the familiar weight of an OG in the body and a calm head. It reads as an evening smoke.
Expect tall plants with strong apical dominance and moderate to high stretch. The top flowers grow large and form dense, OG-style colas in green and purple tones, which is where most of the harvest sits. The breeder gives 63 to 72 days of flower in indoor rooms or greenhouses and rates yield at high to XL with proper training, feeding and support. The breeder figure for THC is 25 to 30 per cent, with resin above 4 per cent and a wash return of about 3.6 per cent.
